Looking for something different? Have your conference, workshop, or staff training at Camp Sheldrake and take advantage of our motivating yet relaxing facilities. You have your choice of meeting rooms to accommodate small groups or group up to 60 people. The benefit of coming here however is the options for facilitated team building workshops, campfires, nature hikes and canoeing. Create a weekend workshop that is both productive, memorable and stress free.
At Camp Sheldrake we offer a variety of programs for class trips. Chose the focus of your trip and come for the day or even overnight!
Focus on team building, come in September with your class, sports team, or student group and start the year off right. Create the bonds, team work skills and communication you need to have an efficient team working together all year.
Give a hoot and take part in a day of environmental education. Get outside and learn everything from the basics of what makes an ecosystem, then be impressed as we discover our role in our world, what we can do to help and what others are doing. Environmental Programs are available to grades 3 – 10!
OFF SEASON RENTALS – We are now accepting bookings for school/adult Day Trips for the months May/June/September.
Our adventure-based programs include canoeing, archery, climbing & rappelling, low ropes challenge and nature adventure. We emphasize that success or failure at a certain activity is subjective. One person’s barometer for success is not necessarily the same as anothers. What is important is the attempt itself.
Equally important is mutual group support (both emotional and physical) as individuals are asked to step front-and-centre to challenge themselves. A good adventure day is one in which each individual in the group challenged his/her perceived limitations and felt supported by his/her team-mates in the attempt.
Camp Sheldrake offers winter, spring and fall bookings to groups and individuals.
Book your group or family during the week or on the weekend. Both day and overnight stays are available.
Trained facilitators and leaders are available to guide your group through many of our on-site activities. We also offer full meals in our dining hall.
